José Santos

 

José made his studies in Portugal, where he is a Certified Public Accountant, with a degree in Accounting and Management. He is also a Macau registered Auditor with a broad experience in accounting, business management and taxation obtained since he established himself in Macau in 1981.

 

José first joined a local audit firm “MTA - Macau Taxation and Auditing” and thereafter “TDM-Teledifusão de Macau, S.A.” where he headed the Finance Department until late 1985; he was then invited to the position of Administration Manager in a large construction company “Construções Técnicas, S.A.”.

 

After 1990, he took the same position in the group’s holding company “Finança - Companhia de Investimentos, SARL”.

 

After establishing a partnership in 1987, he is fully committed to his present position as Director of “Sistema Consultores, Lda”, a local company providing corporate advisory services in management, accounting and taxation.

As an independent professional, José is the Sole Supervisor of several Macau based companies, namely:

- “Melco Resorts (Macau) Ltd”, a concessionary of gaming

- “G. House - Investments Ltd”, investments and shipping

- “GLOBALTEX Services, Ltd”, investments in PRC businesses

He is also a member of the Supervisory Boards of “CEM – Companhia de Electricidade de Macau SA” and “BEE Manufacturing and Technology Macau Co. Ltd.”, manufacturer of gaming products.

As Director of “Sistema Consultores Lda” his client base includes some prestigious and well-known companies in Macau, among them:

- “PAL Asiaconsultores, Ltd” and “PENGEST International Ltd”, two of the leading surveying and project designers companies

- “Manuela António”, Lawyers

- “MANTEIGARIA Asia Ltd”, and “PORTUGÁLIA TAIPA, Ltd; well-known Portuguese companies in the food and beverage business

- “LUSOGLOBAL Projects (Macau), Ltd.”, international business consultants

- “ADONIS ATLAS Consulting, Ltd.”, international consulting and investments

João Matos da Silva

 

João made his studies in Portugal, where he is a Certified Public Accountant.

 

João first joined a local audit firm “MTA - Macau Taxation and Auditing” as a Macau registered CPA in 1983; thereafter he took a position of Chief Accountant in a large construction company, “Construções Técnicas, S.A.” where he was later appointed CFO.

 

He then joined a conglomerate of companies based in Portugal and operating in the field of project design and management, as Group CFO.

 

João currently lives in Portugal and is a senior partner of SISTEMA Consultores, Lda, which he co-founded in 1987.
